The aim of the website is to provide you with information and current news of what is available at the centre. We hope it is helpful to you in making a decision as to what you may wish to study.
At the centre we promote a friendly and relaxed, but professional atmosphere for our students to learn in. You will find friendly and supportive staff and you can be confident of the highest standards of teaching and expert advice you may need to ensure that you can achieve your full potential, learn new skills and gain new experiences to take you forward to the next stage in your career and life.
In exploring our website we hope you will gain an insight into Tyldesley Community Education Centre. We also hope that this is the first step in building a strong relationship with the centre and we look forward to meeting you and helping you with your studies.

[07 Jul 10] :: Teaching Assistant Level 2 course

The administration for the Teaching Assistant Level 2 course to be run here at the centre is now being carried out by Wigan & Leigh College. We have forwarded the names and contact numbers of all the people who have expressed an interest in doing the course in September to the college. These people should be contacted shortly by telephone asking for their address so that a letter can be sent out inviting them for interview. The person desling with the administration at college is June Reeve. If anyone needs further information please contact either the centre or college directly.

[15 Jun 10] :: Learndirect

With effect from 30th June 2010 we will no longer be a Learndirect centre. All existing learners should have been notified by the Ufi of how they can continue their learning.

[27 May 10] :: Exercise Classes Throughout the Summer

The centre will be open throughout the summer and most of the exercise classes will continue as normal. Please feel free to contact us before attending to check if the class you wish to attend is taking place, telephone 01942 797951.
